Digital Motion Design Branding

One of the biggest fundraising events for Boston Children’s Hospital, the Corporate Cup invites several companies around Boston to come and compete with each other to raise over 1 million dollars for the hospital.

For this event, Boston Children’s Hospital tried out a new digital sign to welcome guests and athletes to the stadium. I wanted to try out a motion design, showcasing the event, the location, and the sponsors of the event all within this sign.

Storyboarding

Starting this project, I needed to flesh out a rough idea of how everything would fit on the sign, what information needed to be presented, and the type of transitions in which things would change.

After the initial storyboard, changes in dimension required new storyboards, yet the main ideas continued.

Development

After multiple discussions, the final storyboard helped showcase the necessary information about how the banner would look, the transitions that may be used, and the flow of the project.
